Welcome to Portsmouth Tchoukball clubAbout TchoukballTchoukball is a fast, fun, non-contact sport developed in Switzerland and played in 44 countries around the world. If you'd like more information see 'What is Tchoukball?' over on the left. If you'd like to see the sport right now there are videos available with some information and league matches! The history of Tchoukball in the area goes back nearly 30 years! Did you know Tchoukball has been played in the UK since 1976 and has been active in and around Portsmouth since 1979? We're always after more information on who has played and where, but most importantly we always want new players! Come along and try it at Portsmouth High School for Girls brand-new sports center on a Tuesday night from 7:30pm to 9:15pm. 7:15pm - 8:15pm is a Junior/Beginner session, and 8:15pm to 9:15pm is the Adult session. If you have played before and would like to start again on a casual basis let us know there are Veterans teams that are more than happy for more mature players (not to mention the social side of the sport!) or there are highly competetive adult teams available if that is more your preference that compete nationally and in international club tournaments. Portsmouth Tchoukball club has been given funding from Hampshire & Isle of Wight sports to run a Return To Sport session starting on October 7th starting at 7:15pm for 1 hour. Come along and give it a try - IT'S FREE! Just fill in this form and bring it along! We are working with Portsmouth City Sports Council to help develop the schools in and around Portsea island - if you'd like to start Tchoukball at your school please contact us and we will help however we can. We have an adult league running with Southampton and Liphook and would like to do the same with Junior teams. If you'd like any more information please contact us. We hope to see you soon!
